Christmas

So Christmas is almost here. I finished the last of my Christmas shopping yesterday. Went with my girls. Had a blast, we totally need to go shopping together more. Can't wait for Christmas morning. The kids are going to be so excited, which will make me so excited.

Some of our traditions, we open one Xmas present on Xmas eve, we do something special for a person or family in need (my favorite part of Xmas), Xmas day we open presents and make a big meal, lots of food, lots of  friends.

So every year at Christmas time, my family does something special for a family in need. So I am challenging you to do something special for a family or person in need this Christmas. And for a bigger challenge try to do something special for people in need all through out the year.

Today's Thankful

I am thankful for Christmas music, for it makes the holiday season even more merrier. My favorite is Amy Grant Christmas music, however I really like it all.

I am thankful for caller id, for with out it I would have to talk to people I really don't want to.

Charity

So every year at Christmas time our family does something special for a family in need. I invite you all to follow and find someone or a family that are in need and does something special for that family. Buy some presents, give some food or maybe just spend time with them or all of the above. This year we are helping out a family my husband works with. They have a child that is very sick and in the hospital. The husband is working in DC and the family is in Florida. So we are going to bring Christmas to her in Florida in her hospital room, with decorations, presents and some Christmas cookies.

I am thankful for vacation time. Hubby took a vacation day today cause I was really "missing" him and wanted to spend some time with him. I love my husband very much.

i am thankful for debating. for music today we got into a debate about rap. so lets see what you all think. i don't see it as "music" as a typical music with a drum, guitarist and a "singer" . i see it as someone/s saying rhymes with no "music" not even singing.

I am thankful for looking out my window and seeing snow flakes.

I love the snow, can't wait til it really snows. Today is was just a tease. Last year we had a lot of snow. I have been told that we are going to have even more snow this year, sooo I just can't wait.
